Everyone knows we need to get rid of free radicals, eat well and sleep well to have that kind of health that will last us longer. We also know that we need to eradicate the pollution around us etc etc etc… I have also come to read some interesting articles lately that shows some ideas how to live well.  Plenty of theories on diets, beliefs that may propell us into a longer life.
I know too of people who only feed on plain diets and still live into their 80s,90s and even 100. I remember reading off a VCD some years back that was useful. The monk actually was giving a talk on life. In it he discusses about the way we treat people and beings. He himself was only spending approximately 5 US cents a day for food and he had the energy to carry out his daily doing important and even heavy physical tasks. If everyone could achieve this, technically speaking, no one will starve… but pragmatically, few people have the resistence to all the glorious food out on the table. Such is why the depletion of the oceans of fishies, crabbies and all the other animals that depend on these food sources.  I should have noted the monk’s name.  He is, I think, one of the few people who made a lot of real sense about life and living without asking for any need in return. And I forgot his name.

Probably for the ills we have put into this world, which  is why we receive a dire world,  where the future generation may not know what is an elephant, a tiger or an orang utan…blue skies and green meadows. I think we need to control our lives in order.

Perhaps the best tonic for longevity  is psychological : be kind and have a happy life and all will do well. Don’t forget the ‘smile’ that radiates from within a honest and pure heart. As well as the ‘invisible pollution’ around us — hate, jealousy, sensitivity etc — that eats a lot of people up everyday.

So other than royal jellies or honey, we need something like sweethearts and honies to make our lives long and truly happy.
